Variables allow you to store frequently used values in your apps such as prompts.

To create a new variable, navigate to the 'Variables' tab in your knowledge base. and click the "Add" button.

In the screenshot example above, we've created a "Company Overview" variable so we can use it in our apps like so:

Using Variables as Dropdown Options in your App Inputs

Variables can also be used to serve as dropdown options in your app inputs.

In the example above, we've set a variable for each one of our features and gave them the "Feature" tag, this allows us to filter them here in the "Set Options" modal, select them, and set them as options in our dropdown input. Now we can extend this app to write articles about specific features, or guides.
